It’s a sentimental jury and the makings of a good plan
Here is a silly – but fun and procrastinatory – meme I snagged from my livejournal, because sleep has clearly become a hindrance to life, the universe, and everything. I’ve discovered it hasn’t been updated since last December. It wasn’t very interesting anyway. BUT [for the attn of fellow creative writing bloggers] I seem to have an account of our first CW-class in what proved to be the rather elusive Huntersdale building back in 2005. Apparently we discussed tweed skin, Douglas Adams – it’s always 42 -, the Dan Brown phenomenon – how we HATE its bigness – and LOTR, amongst various other things. Also of note, I refer to Prof. Roberts as “*such* a dude!” This makes me laugh now, not because he is any less of a dude, but rather cos I no longer use the word ‘dude’ so liberally. If I am to be trusted, which I obviously think I am, I enjoyed myself immensely.
Major flashbacking. Anyhoo, on with the scheduled programming…
1. Reply with your name and I will write something I like about you.
2. I will then tell what song/lyric reminds me of you.
3. If I were to apply an o’clock to you, I’ll tell you what it would be.
4. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
5. I’ll tell you the most memorable moment I’ve had with you.
6. I will tell you what colour you remind me of.
7. I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
So long and thanks for all the fish. x

You spelt colour sans the essential Uk ‘u’. Do me too please! (I am so jealous of your header…where’d you get all those cool images? I love Labyrinth)…..
That’s cos i copied/pasted what was, i premuse, originally a meme created by an American-English speaking person. I shall edit it nonetheless, because it’s now irritating me immensely.
Thankye kindly about the header…might create a little quiz seeing if people can guess what the images are from – some are traceable to popular stuff at least.

Ooh, ooh, do the header quiz. I bet I’ll ace it. I totally recognise most of them.
Huntersdale, what a phenomenon that place turned out to be. i remember that day because i missed the bus and was sitting on the floor by the bus stop and readie came up and asked whether i was on the course and i said yes and emma came over as well and asked if we were on the course and we said yes and then we decided to walk to Huntersdale thinking that it couldn’t be any further than a couple of minutes away. (eat ur heart out joyce) But it fucking wasn’t.

7. How you can write various Japanese letters/things. Don’t think I ever properly inquired.
You’d blatently win the quiz so you might as well just tell me what each one is..go across as a) b) etc. these ones are not somuch related to anything in particular: c, e, f, g, h, i, p and r.
I like Japanese literature. Okay, Japanese comics. I felt like learning to read them in the original language. It was a crazy whim!
a) Labyrinth, b) Zorro, d) The Mighty Boosh, j) Harry Potter, k) Doctor Who, l) Lord of the Rings, m) Schrodinger’s Cat, n) Firefly, o) House, q) Firefly again, s) Romeo and Juliet, t) House again (how did I know that when I don’t even watch it?).
Impressive mr. boothman, crazy whims are the ones to go with! … i see b) has tripped you up for it is, in fact, the Dread Pirate Roberts from the Princess Bride, not Zorro. But apart from that you’re dead on the disco. [not literally. that would be bad]

Meeeeeeeeeeee now! Please

Hello! your stuff about the first CW lecture awoke my nostalgic side so i went and dug up my diary to see what i’d written about that day… sadly my response wasn’t nearly as amusing as yours… although i acknowledged the lecture itself as ‘brilliant’, i seemed more distressed than anything about the homework i’d given in, which was apparently “an abstract piece which i’ve made too long, too abstract and too bollocks.” oh well.
you smell! but yeah, meme me miss!
NB: i give up with Q7 cos it’s rubbishy.
